It's June!
Boy, is this year flying by! I've got a day and a half left with my kiddos and I am SO BUMMED. I may be the only teacher in the history of the world that does not want the school year to end. I started as a permanent sub last Monday and school ends on Wednesday. And it's not even a full Wednesday. I am going to miss all my 5th grade kiddos. What's worse is that I won't be seeing them next year. The school where I'm subbing has two openings. One in 5th and one in 6th. My certification is only up to 4th grade. Because I am beyond ready for my own classroom, I will not be subbing anymore. This is my year, y'all. So I created a FB page called Miss Pacheco's Favorite Bunch, where we'll be able to keep in touch. Even though these are 5th graders, we all know they are on FB. They badger me constantly wanting to know if I have an account. Since I don't want them on personal account, I thought, "Why not a page?"
I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi Bren, I found your blog through Foxwell Forest's facebook post about your 100 follower giveaway. Congratulations on having a 100 followers. I love your blog, I'm your newest follower. I can totally understand your needing and wanting I'm in the same situation. I currently work part-time in a district, but desperately need & want full time. Happy to be a new follower. I'm off to go check out your 100 follower giveaways. By the way how do you get so many people to donate stuff for giveaways? I'm only at 50 some followers, but it's something I'm already thinking about. I want to be ready when the time comes.
